Our engagement

The Swiss Cytometry Meeting was founded in 2018 by Loïc Tauzin and Miguel Garcia at EPFL Lausanne with a clear purpose: to create a dedicated space where the Swiss cytometry community could meet, exchange, and grow together. From its very first edition, the meeting set out to bridge disciplines, career stages, and institutions — bringing researchers, core facility specialists, clinicians, and industry partners under one roof.

Over successive editions in 2018, 2020, 2023 and 2025, the meeting has steadily grown in scope and ambition, earning strong support from both the scientific community and industry partners. What began as a national initiative has evolved into a well-established meeting point for the Swiss cytometry community, drawing participants from across the country and beyond.

Our commitment has remained constant throughout: to deliver a programme that is scientifically rigorous, inclusive, and genuinely useful — whether you are presenting your first poster or leading a core facility. Each edition reflects our belief that cytometry advances fastest when its community is connected.

With the 5th Swiss Cytometry Meeting taking place on 10–12 February 2027 at the University of Bern, we continue that journey — and we look forward to welcoming you.
