Besançon, France

Pharmacist-biologist, PhD, Professor of Biological Hematology at Marie and Louis Pasteur University in Besançon, I am also Co-Director of the Inserm UMR RIGHT research team (Prof. O. Adotevi) and Head of the Cellular Hematology Laboratory at Besançon University Hospital (CHU). I have been working on pDC leukemias since 2004 and founded the national ROMI network (TumeuRs à cellules dendritiques plasmOcytoïdes et héMopathIes avec pDC, TumeuRs à cellules dendritiques plasmOcytoïdes et héMopathIes avec pDC (ROMI) – CHU Besançon Franche-Comté), which provides diagnostic support for these diseases to centers throughout France that wish to participate. This network has also enabled the establishment of biocollections for research purposes. In particular, we contributed to the development of tagraxofusp (IL3-DT), and we are currently developing an anti-CD123 CAR-T cell therapy for the treatment of these patients and we participate to AML-pDC description.
